These photos are courtesy of the Prairie Farmer magazine, featured in an article about Phil "Zeke" Givan published in the June 10, 1944 issue.  The article told the epic story of "Zeke" who did his duty extra special well while in the Pacific, especially while at Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands.

The picture held in each photo was featured in every newspaper article written, discussing his achievements while serving with the Marines in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
